Customers in Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia can now benefit from Zoller + Fröhlich’s new IMAGER 5024 series, which reduces scanning time by up to 50% compared with previous models.
Technology solutions provider Aptella announces the introduction of new 3D laser scanning technology by German engineering company Zoller + Fröhlich (Z+F). As Z+F’s local distributor, Aptella provides sales and technical support to customers across Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia.
“Z+F laser scanning technology is renowned for its accuracy and reliability,” said Geoff Preece, Market Development Manager for Scanning at Aptella. “The latest 5024 series further strengthens the brand reputation with up to twice as fast scanning speeds and modular options to suit a range of applications and budgets.”
The new IMAGER 5024 range was unveiled at this year’s Intergeo exhibition in Stuttgart, Germany. With three models available, customers benefit from increased flexibility and the ability to upgrade their model at any time to suit evolving business or project needs.
Thanks to their versatile features, all three scanner variants are ideal for a wide range of applications, from architecture and building surveying to historic preservation work.
All three new variants of the Z+F IMAGER series are fully compatible with the Z+F FlexScan 22 software. Together they form a high-precision mobile surveying system that enables unprecedented accuracy in mobile scanning. In addition, data from mobile SLAM scans are easily combined with static scan data, further improving the accuracy of SLAM data.
Zoller + Fröhlich has also released a new wide-angle camera designed to generate colour data in combination with the new laser scanning series. TopCam captures colour information up to 12 times faster than the previous i-Cam, enabling users to process their projects significantly faster. The combination of this high-performance camera with the new Z+F IMAGER 5024 models provides a breakthrough solution for professionals who need accurate and timely results.
