We are pleased to announce that we distribute the long range 3D laser scanner, the Polaris amongst our product range along with Lynx and Maverick mobile mapping platforms, across New Zealand, Australia and PNG.
The distribution agreement is with the Canadian-based mass data capture manufacturer,Teledyne Optech. This partnership will bring a series of long range scanners including the Polaris as well as Teledyne Optech’s mobile mapping solutions throughout New Zealand, Australia and Papua New Guinea.

The Polaris 3D laser scanner can deliver high accuracy point clouds up to distances of 1.6 kilometres. This product is perfect for any long-range application such as civil engineering or mining. The Polaris has an inbuilt camera which is ideal for taking 360-degree photography and geo-referencing for survey information.
Aptella will work alongside Teledyne Optech to deliver the Lynx advanced scanning and Lidar mobile platform to provide survey grade accuracy on vehicle mapping applications. This is a customised design solution to allow the very highest standards of performance and accuracy at a millimetre level.
The Maverick is a portable system which is quite unique. It weighs less than nine kilograms and is easy to assemble on any vehicle which is fitted with roof racks or any suitable frame in less than 15 minutes. The Maverick provides a one stop shop solution with significant installation time and expertise also with external computer to record data in the ease to set up and is operational within minutes.
