New! The Sokkia DX now comes with an optional add on; the RC-PR5 On-Demand Remote. The remote has a built-in directional sensor that constantly monitors prism movement enabling it to perform rapid prism search at any position. Sokkia is proud to offer a World’s First technology – TSshield. Every TSsheild enabled instrument is equipped with a telematics-based communications module that provides remote security and maintenance options. If your activated instrument is lost or stolen, using TSshield you can simply send a coded signal to the instrument and disable it – virtually anywhere in the world!

TSshield also notifies you of updates like new firmware right on the instrument! When available, a notification is sent electronically. The next time you power on the instrument you’re notified on the display. There’s even an online account that maintains an operational history of your instrument including error codes for your convenience and Technical Support reference if necessary.
